The last time I wanted a slice in PA, we went to a popular pizza place in Ardmore. I was optimistic; the owners are from Bay Ridge. Nonetheless, their pizza was bad. I don't often crave pizza, but when I do I hold out hopes (usually not met) that it'll come close to what I grew up with in Brooklyn. I noticed Overbrook Pizza when we were down the block at a Chinese takeout. Yelp reviews were promising, particularly one fellow who said that he normally doesn't eat the crust, but he does, here. So we bought a pepperoni pie ... and it was great. Not exactly what I had as a kid, but great. The right ratio of cheese to sauce. A generous amount of pepperoni. And the Yelper is right about the crust. I ate the whole thing, too!

Excellent pizza. Cheesesteaks and chicken fingers are good too. My wife likes the chicken Caesar salad.

I was visiting the area looking at apartments and I think I found my go-to pizza place! Staff is very friendly and the pizza was delicious. I'm not one to often eat the crust, but this one was one of the best I've eaten. The place doesn't have any seating but the "everyday neighborhood pizza place" atmosphere makes up for that.

Best steaks in Overbrook, I always make a trip here whenever I'm in town. Always the same faces behind the counter, ready with some quick with so be on your toes! Takeout only of course, and they don't have Tastykakes.

Solid cheese pizza with good flavor. Cheese fries were also solid. The service was pretty quick. Would order again!

As long as Overbrook Pizza has been around and always driving pass it i have never tried it until the end of 2022 and I love it. They have the best pizza, cheese steaks, cheese fries, buffalo wings. A friend of mine turned me on th them and I love them.

My new go-to spot for pizza in the neighborhood! The pizza is the perfect balance of crispy/chewy crust and cheese. The service is prompt, and the team behind the counter is kind. This is a pick-up & go kinda joint, so be prepared to take your first bite in the car. I highly recommend it. Kindly pissed it took me so long to find them, lol.

Sometimes I just want good pizza from a pizza shop. No frills, no commercial company, just good pizza. That's Overbrook Pizza for me. I've only had their pizza (large sausage) and it was nothing short of gooodt! I could tell the dough wasn't frozen and it was thick enough to withstand the cheese and sauce (I can't bang wit soggy pizza). Seems really simple but in my experience good pizza can be hard to come by in Philly. I definitely can't wait to try something else from Overbrook.

Different cheesesteak #1020 in the last four years. Good traditional pizza shop cheesesteak. I met the owner while he was picking up trash off the sidewalk. You know if he cares about the sidewalk, he cares about his place. I think everyone working there had been there at least 10 years. Next time I am hungry in Overbrook I will stop back and see if I can get my cheesesteak on garlic bread.
